Arco Lamp
The Arco lamp is a floor lamp which provides direct light and satisfies the request of direct illumination without the need to fix it to the ceiling. Most rooms have the electrical output for a ceiling lamp right in the middle of the ceiling, but most dining tables are not placed in the middle of a room. Achille Castiglioni was unhappy because of the cable going from the output to the position where the pendant lamp is fixed to illuminate the table. For this reason he designed the Arco lamp, together with Pier Giacomo Castiglioni.
The Arco Lamp is a timeless work of art. Easily one of the most subtly ubiquitous lamps ever crafted. The Arco lamp features a solid marble base and an 8ft arc of stainless steel. The lamp arc is adjustable, and the marble base is crafted using a solid piece of marble which weighs more than 140lbs. The polished stainless steel shade extends eight feet beyond the base, leaving room for a dining table or sofa to sit directly beneath the light source. It's perfect for rooms that do not have existing ceiling lighting fixtures. Delivery of the arco lamp replica to UK as well.

Arne Jacobsen Floor Lamp
The Arne Jacobsen lamp is designed among a lot of other lighting fixtures for the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen. The standard lamp consists of a lamp holder in an enameled brass pipe, the dimensions and construction of which are of his ceiling lamp in the council chamber of Roedovre. A tilting mechanism has been installed in the pipe. The angles of the conic metal shade are made so it flush with the lamp holder at the top. When the lamp is tilted downwards, the edge is horizontal. The inside of the shade is matte white enamel. The screening is effective, you cannot look up into the light source. Using a clear incandescent lamp the light is exploited the best way and the the light rays delineated preciesly.
The lamp has a fixture head with a distinct asymmetrical shape, which determines the light characteristics of the fixture. The fixture head is tilt-able. The base of the desk lamp has a hole, originally made to accommodate an ashtray. Without the ashtray, however, the hole adds elegance and lightness to the design. The unique quality of its design idiom has made these fixtures modern classics
The Standard version of the lamp is slightly different from the original version with a more angular shade rather than a flat from top shade.
